     Thank you for entrusting Millennium Community School with your children’s education. Students will be exposed to a variety of experiences which we hope will enrich them in their development throughout the school year and mature him/her into a stellar student. I encourage you to contact your child's teacher with any questions you may have.

     We are looking forward to a productive and enthusiastic relationship with you and your child. It is because of your support of our program and of our families that we have expanded to the 8th grade. We are excited about this great opportunity to expand and provide each student with a safe and cohesive learning environment, and it's our goal to increase our academic curricular to an exceptional standard of learning for all students. and greatly position us for the future. We are embarking upon our 11th year of service to families throughout the Columbus area, and we are looking forward to another great year with you.

     We have re-evaluated our approach to improving student success. Our facility is now comprised of three academic communities, grades K-2nd, 3rd-5th and 6th-8th. Each community will function as an independently operated academic entity, with an administrator called an Academic Architect who will help guide curricular, disciplinary measures and increase academic achievement -- to ensure each student’s success within his/her academic community.

    Our new approach has the following attributes:

         - Creating cultural and enrichment experiences for our students

         - A data motivated environment to measure and increase students’ academic performance

         - The celebration of every success, recognizing students and school-wide accomplishments each month.

         - Monitoring discipline and quickly resolving matters not conducive to the learning environment

         - Building a organization with improved processes to achieve effectiveness and efficiencies throughout.

     To this end, “The Millennium Transformation” will require all of us to make what has become better, become the best. In order for our students to be successful, our expectations will be extremely high and our results will be extraordinary.
